Archangel Michael Orthodox Church – Broadview Heights, Ohio
Archangel Michael Orthodox Church is seeking a dedicated and experienced Choir Director to lead, develop, and inspire our parish choir. The Choir Director will play an important role in the spiritual and musical life of our parish, helping our community experience the beauty and depth of Orthodox worship.
Use your musical gifts to serve the Church and help lead our parish in prayer through sacred song!
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience directing a church or community choir
Strong vocal, conducting, and musical leadership skills
Ability to read music and teach vocal parts effectively
Familiarity with Eastern Orthodox liturgical music and traditions
Experience with Byzantine, Slavic, or other Orthodox choral traditions is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively with clergy, choir members, and parish leadership
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
A sincere appreciation for the role of music in Orthodox worship
